Bought this as a Chrsitmas present for our “Fireman Sam” mad son and he just loves it, he’s hardly put it down.
The only drawbacks are that the figures fit tightly into the cockpit making them sometimes difficult to insert / remove and the doors are quite flimsy.

Bought this for my son’s 3rd birthday. He loves the Tom character from Fireman Sam so was very excited to receive this toy. He has played with it constantly for the past 3 days and it hasn’t left his side for very long. We even had to take it in the car on our journeys. The only down side is it doesn’t do a great deal other than the wind up blades. They are a bit tricky for little one’s to get going as the button needs to be pushed in and it then releases as the blades go around. Sometimes you have to push it in 2 or 3 times before it catches. It doesn’t really need to do much as it is a great toy for role play and my son acts out scenes from Fireman Sam with it.

I bought this item for Christmas to give my 2 year old son who is completley mad for helicopters and was particular impressed with Tom and his helicopter from the cartoons scenes. He just loves this helicopter much more than any of the other ones he has. Tom is his favorite character.

In comparison to the Postman Pat figures and vehicles this toy is inferior. The rotar blades only work intermittently and even then aren’t briliant. There is little detail on the helicopter and the plastic feels very flimsy- not sure how long this will last. My son loves it as he is a fan of Fireman Sam but I think the manufacturers could have done much better. The postman pat toy range are made very well and much thought has been put into how children play with things and they have ensured that parts to vehicles are robust and flexible when they need to be (for example wing mirrors etc). All of the toys have much more detail too. If your child is a fan of both Pat and Sam – I would go with a Pat toy everytime!

I bought this toy this christmas for my nearly 3 year old son. Its a decent quality toy. I say decenet and not great because there is a button on the side of the helicopter that when you push, the blades go round on the top, and the reality is that they sometimes go round and sometimes dont.
My son also received a playmobil helicopter, which I believe to be the same price, and I would have to say that is much better quality.
In future I have decided to buy the better quality Toys.
