I bought this for my son’s birthday and he is very pleased with it. It is very lifelike and good value for money.

an action figure based on the character hiro nakamura, from the tv show heroes. doubtless the only people reading this review will be those who have watched the show so I don’t need to go into detail about it.

The figure is slightly over six inches tall, and depicts hiro in his usual jacket and casual clothes and glasses. the likeness is pretty good rather than great. whilst it certainly looks like him so much that you wouldnt notice anything wrong there’s not quite as much detail as in the figures of the characters from the tv show lost, for example. his glasses are firmly attached, so bonus points for that. I have lost glasses in the past from figures that weren’t like that.

The head can be turned. the arms also have points of articulation at the shoulder and at the wrists. the waist legs and feet of the figure are immobile, but he’s more than sturdy enough to stand upright unaided.

it comes with a messenger bag that can be hung over one arm, a sword that can slot into the hand on the other one [the hands also have no articulation] and a copy of one of the paintings from the show. this is on card.

a very good rather than excellent figure, but it should keep fans of the show and the character happy
