Hasbro continue their 30th Anniversary Collection with #28: Darth Vader: McQuarrie Concept.

The fourth concept figure in the numbered line, the Sith Lord doesn’t look all that different from the icon we all know. His helmet is larger and more angular, an almost Samurai feeling to it and his clothes underneath are grey as opposed to black.

Darth Vader is very poseable with head, shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee and ankle joints.

He comes equipped with a blue lightsabre, a blaster pistol which fits in the holster on his right hip and an alternate head which has a slightly smaller mask and plating.

There is also a silver collector’s coin which goes in the album which comes with figure #1: Darth Vader.

A great figure and an interesting look at how one of cinema’s most iconic villains could have looked. A must have for any Star Wars collection.
