MY GIRLS ARE AVID SYLVANIAN COLLECTORS AND I WOULD DEFINATLY SAY THIS IS ONE OF THERE FAVOURITES. IT COMES WITH LOADS OF BITS AND BOBS AND EVEN A FIGURE, WHICH ON THERE OWN ARE EXPENSIVE! ALL IN ALL IT IS VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.

A beautiful bakery – detailed, durable and with over 70 pieces, good value and lots of fun. Parents beware – it’s very fiddly as the pieces are tiny and when packed away your child’s efforts at setting it all up will just become a jumbled mess in the box.
The only character included is Christopher Apple-Blossom the Baker, so if you want customers at the bakery, you’ll need to buy one of the Sylvanian Family sets. My son (Aged 6) bought the owls and loves them.

This is just delightful and as good, if not better, than the images suggest. My daughters own several sylvanian buildings and sets, collecting them now for several years. While this is the newest addition to their collection so I am probably biased, it is one of my favourites. The little bits and pieces are naturally fairly fiddly to set up for younger children, but this is the case with all Sylvanian sets – and also the teeny size is one of it’s big appeals too.
This set seemed to come with far more accessories and teeny bits and pieces than some of the other sets, making it feel far better value for money too. The shop adds a lovely dimension to role playing and can even squeeze a little bit of educational value in terms of maths (adding up the shopping costs, giving change etc) which is a nice bonus.
As the shop is open backed, I recommend you consider getting a box to store all the small pieces (if you don’t keep the original packing) as the set does not fold away as well as some of the other Sylvanian houses and buildings.
