Obviously a valuable addition for collectors of Thomas take along. Slight problem with doors not closing properly but apart from that great addition to other playsets.

My two year-old loves all things Thomas the Tank Engine. He’s not far off of his third birthday so we thought that it would be an acceptable present. Unfortunately when trying to open the doors he always seems to get his fingers trapped in the window. This causes much distress.

It is the only criticism we have of this toy, which has been placed out of reach until he’s a bit older.

THREE YEAR OLD FREDDIE WAS VERY IMPRESSED WHEN HE OPENED HIS NEW ENGINE SHED HOWEVER WITHIN SECONDS HE HAD MANAGED TO TRAP HIS FINGERS, ONCE HE HAD RECOVERED FROM THIS HE PLAYED FOR OVER AN HOUR PUTTING HIS TRAINS TO BED IN THEIR ‘ENGINE BEDROOMS’. THIS SEEMS TO BE A VERY STURDY TOY AND WAS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 3yr old nephew and he loves it. My sons who are 5 & 7 also enjoyed playing with it. It sticks to its description very well, and is ideal as a starter pack.
