My 3 year old loved this doll, she can play nurse with it feed it and interact with it. The only problem has been the little plasters which get lost very easily.

When I first heard of Mommy Make Me Better, I was ecstatic. A month later, I bought her. I wish I hadn’t!! I was expecting her to do so much more. All she does is:

Cry

Laugh

Heartbeat

Cheeks glow

Boo boo disappears

What happens is you press her back and she cries. Then her cheeks glow red. You have to give her a paci or the heart thermometer so she stops. I wish you could soothe her in more than one way. Then you give her the spoon of medicine and she makes sucking noises. Take it away and she laughs. Press her left chest and she goes “pumpum, pumpum, pumpum” like a heartbeat. Press her tummy and she laughs. It’s really hard to make the boo boo disappear, you have to hold down the cloth Band-Aid (which doesn’t do anything) and your body heat makes it go away. I’ve never made it go away. So poor Chou Chou is stuck with a big heart bruise until mommy gets either a fever or a hot pack. All in all, I do not recommend this doll. I think she would only be good for younger children. The sound quality is very good, but the doll is quite boring.

My 2 year old daughter gasped with glee when she took the wrapping paper off this one on Christmas morning. We were worried it wouldn’t live up to those high expectations, but she adores it and takes it everywhere. Obviously, your kid has to be into baby dolls for this to be such a success, but the accessories are just right for this age to handle and so get a bit more out of it than just cuddling. The sounds are fine once you realise you need to switch off at bedtime. The only bit that doesn’t really work is the bruise as it takes too much effort to make this fade. I didn’t have enough patience, never mind my toddler.

when i bought my daughter this we got it before all the stores had sold out.all she wanted for xmas was this doll.i thought it looked brilliant with the heart beat, glowing cheeks.but the reality is it isn’t as good as i first thought.the bruise on her arm doesn’t go away.which upsets my daughter.i wouldn’t invest in another chou chou doll.think i’ll stick with the baby annabell’s.
